Yer Vang-Rojas 3 months agoI recently encountered a disappointing experience at a post office located at this site. Due to an unusually high volume of appointments, I was forced to book an appointment two weeks in advance in Los Angeles. I scheduled the earliest available appointment in Anaheim, which required a 30-minute drive from my residence. My son and I arrived 15 minutes prior to our scheduled appointment time. Upon arrival, the front desk clerk instructed us to wait until we were called. After waiting for 10 minutes, another staff member informed me that there would be a delay due to printer maintenance. We returned to the waiting area and waited an additional 20 minutes, which tested my patience. I approached the front desk to inquire about the delay and was ignored by the staff member, who instead called my son over. I explained the situation, and the staff member apologized for the wait, stating that the printer was malfunctioning. I expressed my frustration, explaining that I had booked the appointment for 9:00 a.m. and had been waiting since 8:45 a.m. after a 10-hour work shift. I also mentioned that my son had missed school for the appointment. The staff member failed to acknowledge my concerns, prompting me to express my anger. The situation escalated, and the staff member called the manager to resolve the issue. I explained the situation to the manager, who apologized for the delay. However, I was dismayed to learn that the printer had been malfunctioning since the previous Saturday, and the staff had failed to notify me. The manager attempted to rectify the situation by contacting another post office to accommodate me without an appointment. Unfortunately, this solution was not feasible due to my son's scheduled doctor's appointment in Long Beach. We proceeded to another post office, where the staff was unaware of the previous arrangement. After explaining the situation, the staff member accepted my application. I was not upset about the printer malfunction but rather the lack of communication and professionalism displayed by the staff.
Gloria Espinoza 4 months agoThe delivery driver never attempted to deliver my package and because of this I wasn’t left a notice. Honestly the worst place and people I have ever dealt with. If I could leave zero stars I would. I called to say I was picking up my package was told I could come pick it up, I arrived the lady “looked” for my package for a good while comes back empty handed asking me if I was told I could pick it up when I just said that. Charles comes up to the front when he’s the one I talked to on the phone saying I could pick up my package, now he wants to tell me it’s lost in the mail and they’ll contact me with further updates. I haven’t got any updates I am the one calling and texting about my package and still no response and no one is answering the phone. The inconvenience is ridiculous and honestly you should all lose your job.
Lou Defacto 4 weeks agoThis review is just for the experience I had with one clerk. I came into the post office in the morning when it was slow. I came to have a QR label printed that was prepaid for online. I always prefer going to the counter because I know my packages will be confirmed to be received by them should there be any issues. There was only one person ahead of me at the line. There was a woman with dark complexion possibly Indian decent (also had an accent) and an Asian woman both at the counter. The darker complexion woman finished with their customer and called for the next person in line which was me. I told the woman I needed to print a QR code for the package I had in hand. She said "I have to" use the self service machine. I told her I preferred to go to the counter. She said her system was having issues at the moment. I'm thinking in my head then why did she call for the next person in line if her system isn't working properly... I walk over to the self service to print out my QR code just as I finished I hear the asian clerk call the next person in line and that person also had to print out a QR code but this clerk printed it out for him at the counter. She didn't tell him to go to the self service kiosk like I was told. The darker complexion clerk could have had me wait for the other clerk which is what I would have preferred. This is the closest post office to where I live and it's convenient but for any QR codes I'll probably wait for another clerk from now on after what I experienced with the other clerk. This is a minor complaint but even the smallest things that customers have issues with can make or break a business and ruin the customer experience.
Chuck Rangel 2 years agoI've only been here to drop off packages on the weekend since they are open on Saturdays. I havent delt woth the post office during the week. It is a large post office with a lot of PO boxes for customers. They ladies who always assisted me are polite. I will be stopping here more often.
