Thomas North 6 months agoWhat a disaster of a post office. I am always hesitant to do business at this post office because of the poor experiences other people have had. Today, December 19th 2024, I entered this post office with a single prepaid package. I waited in line for approximately 3 minutes to drop off my prepaid package. Which is unusual for me because usually I just drop them off at the counter as soon as I walk into the door. This is a smaller post office so I did feel a little awkward just walking up and dropping it off on the counter. I was waiting in line I listened to a postal worker going back and forth with the lady who was complaining about something. I attempted to show the public servant that I had a prepaid package and I walked up to the counter to set the package on top. Immediately I was scorned like a child. She told me that I am cutting a line and I'm not able to do that even with a prepaid package. I responded to her: yes, people with prepaid packages are able to set them on the counter without waiting inline. She adamantly denied it. Ironically, I was in there just last week with four or five packages and the same lady told me to come up and just drop the packages off and she was dealing with a customer at that time. Anybody, with very little research, can see that it is totally acceptable at all post offices for people to leave prepaid packages on the counter. Her attitude and total lack of customer service is unacceptable. I don't understand why public employees, public servants, people that work and are paid by the public are some of the rudest people in the service industry. A grown man of 50 years should not be chastised in front of other people for absolutely no reason. This woman needs to be removed from her job and I will be submitting complaints to the postmaster and to anyone else that I am able to get into contact with. I do feel sorry for her because I realize that the only reason why she would get so angry is because she is suffering either physically or mentally. She definitely needs help and I hope that the postmaster provides the help that she obviously needs. What a horrible experience at this post office. Do not go here until this lady is removed.
Inge Alsup a month agoI went to that Post office to mail a card . I walked up to the counter was totally ignored. After she put all her stuff away she ask me in a rude way what I wanted . I told her I want to mail my card ,she started saying in a very rude way ,I would appreciate if you stand behind the line until I call you I have stuff all over the counter . All I could say was” what “I was so surprised .She told me to read the sign. I told her I would never come here again . kind of sad she has such a good job that she does not deserve
Ismail Dag 6 months agoSubject: Formal Complaint – Unprofessional & Disrespectful Conduct at USPS (13428 San Pedro Ave) To the Manager of the USPS branch at 13428 San Pedro Ave, and to USPS Executive Leadership, I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the conduct of one of your employees at the USPS location at 13428 San Pedro Ave. The employee shown in the photo I provided does not represent the values of USPS in a respectful or professional manner. On multiple occasions, this employee has been extremely rude, disrespectful, and demeaning toward customers. When customers ask simple questions, she responds with statements such as: • “Wait until the end of the line and then ask your question.” • “It will be done my way.” • “Who do you think you are?” Her tone and behavior have been humiliating, and it has made customers feel unwelcome. Several people in the lobby were visibly shocked by how she spoke to the public. In my opinion, her behavior also appeared biased/discriminatory, which is unacceptable in any customer-facing role. Is this the level of customer service USPS stands for? Has this employee received customer service training? No customer should be scolded or disrespected simply for asking a question. I respectfully request that USPS take immediate action, including a formal investigation, corrective training, and appropriate disciplinary measures as needed. I also request a written response confirming that this complaint has been received and explaining what steps will be taken. Thank you for your attention to this serious matter.
Arthur Merschat 5 months agoNo one at this location has a uniform or all of their teeth. I asked for a receipt and they said “we don’t do that here” I don’t know what’s going on but I’d recommend finding a different post office.
Snorkel Kitty 7 months agoFirst off, I love the cash only. I know most people hate that. If you don't use it, you're going to lose it. Second, I have never had a problem at this location like I have at the larger offices. They always take care of me if I need some change, and they have never been rude to me. This is the only Post Office I use, so I'm not sure why the reviews are so low for this location. The staff is blunt, and to the point, as am I, so I'm obviously not put off by it. Maybe they are just tired of babysitting. The hours and information is on everyone's phone, so there shouldn't be any surprises. I work in customer service. It can be a bitter pill. Give them a break.
